I’ve had 2 million streams on Spotify!
We found this out yesterday when the Spotify Team granted my Artist profile and, for the first time, Mike (my seriously clever husband/drummer) could look inside at my details.
Of course I realise this is probably not a large number, but to an independent boogie/blues act such as myself, it’s staggering!
These streams are for 10 solo single piano pieces so I guess there are quite a lot of relistens, and I’m hopeful that many are younger people who constitute the ongoing audience for this unique acoustic piano style.
And to know people are listening to my recordings makes an old lady’s heart beat faster! 8 to the bar! More to come….
