Come along to see Jan and Mike perform live their original score for the Australian Classic B&W Silent Movie “The Kid Stakes”. This is an iconic film and is a great view of life in simpler times – but with strangely familiar themes that still go on today.

Feel free to laugh, cry, boo the villains and cheer the heroes – there’s no dialogue to to drown out!

Jan presents her “Composing for Film” workshop, inspired by her long career as a film composer, creating the original Film Composition course at the Australian Film, Television and Radio School (AFTRS), and her time as Composer in Residence at AFTRS.
